I disagree. He is allowed to want to remain fertile. Just like a woman has that right. Each couple has to decide what is best for them. I had Essure done even though my wife offered to get a vasectomy because I do not trust a vasectomy.

I think it's the least they can do, although, I wouldn't call my husband a selfish jerk for not doing it.  It's his body.  He could easily say I'll wear a condom.  What if he pressed you to block your tubes and you didn't want to?  Would you be a selfish jerk?

you're asking someone to have surgery.  if he didn't want to wear condoms, that's a different story but calling someone selfish for not having a vasectomy is just plain stupid.
