You can still get a diploma.

Quoting Anonymous:

but see if you were smart and did it right the first time it would be a DIPLOMA!!!!  not a GED

Quoting sophiesister2:

I got my GED and scored higher than 80% of highschool graduates would...so its just as good shut up.

A friend of mine left HS her sophomore year. She was a year behind me. MY senior year she walked across the stage with MY class & got her diploma. In a year and a half she not only finished her sophomore year, but her junior & senior as well. I think that is definitely worth a DIPLOMA. Some people just do better in smaller groups.

Whatever, doll. You can think that, "know" that, or print it out and fuck it for all I care.

I actually agree with this. I had my son at 17, and could have taken the easy way out by dropping out and getting my GED. Instead, I switched to an online school while I was pregnant, and graduated a year early. However, for some people GED's are really a great thing. If a student finds themself so far behind, this is a good way to get a "diploma of sorts" on time. I wouldn't do it myself, but for some people it's a good thing.
