I'm really starting to worry. I have the merina iud put in almost 2 years ago and since then my periods have been very regular I always knew exactly hen it would start. But now the past few months my periods have been coming late and now I'm a week late. Has anyone else had this problem? I don't know what to do.

I had the mirena for 3 years and my periods changed completely. some times i would skip a month. sometimes bleed for 2 months. then skip 2 months.

Mirena will screw with your periods and eventually they should go away.... I highly doubt you are preggo, but if you are worried. Take a test

That is odd but I've been so regular and just recently it has started acting up but I've never been this late before

I have had the mirena since June and I don't get periods anymore, it's quite normal for your periods to stop.
