If you take their temperature.with a regular thermometer in their armpit. i worked at a day care and we always added a degree. is this accurate??
and please don't tell to stick it in her butt! she puts up enough of a fight putting it under her arm...

That's why Im confused.. if.i add a degree she has a slight fever if i don't she doesn't. but last night she was 101 with out adding it.. i.think she.is cutting teeth.
but i hate to give her tylenol if she doesn't need it.

Yes, you add a degree when taking an axillary temperature.

How old? Depending on age I wouldn't medicate until her temp hits 101

Cutting teeth does not cause 101 fevers. Viral and bacterial illnesses do.
