Nobody is coming to my party...update...

Dh and I are throwing a Christmas party tonight for a few of our friends/family (about 20-30 people total). We're also planning to announce that we're expecting at the party by having dd wear a soon-to-be big sister shirt.



So I've been ridiculously excited because up till now almost everyone was coming.



But this morning I had half the people back out. I'm so heartbroken now. I had this cute little surprise planned that now people aren't going to see. :'(



Well, that and the shit-ton of food/drinks that won't be consumed.

Since I posted, seven more people backed out of tonight's party. Three people showed up.

I want to believe it was all just unfortunate circumstances, but I have this little inkling that I just don't have very many good friends. :-/

Anybody want hot chocolate? I have enough packets to refresh an army. We had a whole hot cocoa bar set up and everything. Pick your flavor.

I'm sorry. Thats always disappointing. I have had that happen, and it made me mad because if they wouldn't have rsvp'd in the first place I wouldnt have over planned everything. I'm sure it will still be a great party and those that are there will really enjoy it. Best of luck!
