I won't leave mine with a woman....much less a man.

I have a friend that does daycare and he is AWESOME with the kids. They absolutely adore him.

I sure would. Assuming, of course, the center passed my inspection.

Some of the best teachers I ever employed as a director were male. I think it's incredibly sexist to judge men who feel a calling to teach young children

Gender is irrelevant.  I would go off what kind of vibe I got from the person upon meeting them.

I don't know. I had a hard enough time sending my son to preschool for 6 hours a week with nuns for teachers....and then the priest was arrested for viewing child pornography on the church computer. We're in PA and it was right around the same time the whole penn state Sandusky thing went down. Scary scary world we live in!

Yes. Last year ds was in a special needs class. One of the little boys had a one on one aid who was a guy. Dave was awesome. It was really nice to see a man in a mostly female profession. He used to do crafts with the kids, help with snacks, made the kids "fly" when they did their alien project.

Absolutely in a heartbeat.  Pedophilia and abuse know no gender.  You either trust the daycare center to hire competent, safe people or you don't.

I dont really trust daycares in general. My DD goes to a licensed in home day care run by my sisters best friend.
