Do you text and drive?Honestly

Nope. Never. I rarely text though, I don't like it. I also don't answer or talk on the phone while driving.
Yeah. I'm not sure it's illegal yet in state I moved from.
And actually, I looked it up to verify, and I'm wrong anyway. In PA, the law against texting was passed, but the law against cell phone calls still hasn't been put up to vote on. I guess I just assumed that texing was already illegal, so the new law must be about cell phones in general. No the case, it seems. Ah, well, at least I'm putting a good habit into practice. =)

Did you know it's not illegal in every state? In texas it's only illegal in school zones while the light is flashing.
Not saying you were insinuating anything..just a little side blurb.
Quoting MamaRae85:LOL How do you know if it's an emergency, though?
I don't text nd drive. If I'm texting at a red light, I'll quit when it turns green. I'll take a call once in a while, but I'm trying to break the habit since it's illegal now, even with a headset.

No. I only answer if it's an emergency too.
I can say that I have never, ever texted while driving...
but that's only b/c I don't have text on my phone LOL! Had it disabled several years ago when my then teenage son ran up a huge bill and never bothered to have it turned back on, so not even able to receive!
Honestly, no. I've read where studies say that texting while driving is actually more dangerous than driving drunk. Actually, I think they talked about it on Oprah once.
