So the story is simple. I bought DS this table + chairs set, didn't take very long for it to get ruined. My niece was over and literally chewed it to shit lol. And eventually it ended up with pen marks and etc. all over it, it was just trashed.
Today I went and picked up a new vinyl cloth and reupholstered the whole thing! I *LOVE* IT!!!
Before

After

And as a disclaimer BEFORE I have to listen to anon run her mouth: I realize the blue/reds clash but I do like the contrast, and it's simply what I chose!! Thankfully this is in my home and not yours :) DS is thrilled with his new table!
Anyway, yay!! :)
** I just took a new picture really quick to show a bit better what the color looks like lol. It's not AS bright as the top photo!

This still didn't come out the same color but a little better lol.
*high five* for making something new again instead of trashing it.
Awesome, thanks! :)
Quoting SevenKisses:Here is the link that was on the Pin I found, it really doesn't say anything more than what I wrote lol :)
Quoting MamaTasha08:Wow, I was going to buy a whole new table because my sons has a hole in the vinyl. That totally sounds doable. I am on pinterest, I'll have to look it up.
Quoting SevenKisses:5 Dollars!!!!!
Are you on Pinterest? I will go look for the link I orginally found it on but there literally was no directions.I bought a table cloth, cut it slightly bigger than the table.
Unscrew the table and rip the old part off.
Stapled new cloth on and screwed it back on! It was SO easy! And so cheap!!Quoting MamaTasha08:Do you have instructions on how to do this? How much did it cost?
Quoting SevenKisses:I know, I should have added that it's not literally THAT bright looking IRL, it looks like a candy cane in the pics but I swear IRL it's more toned down!!
Quoting marinesweetie:
Looks good! But it hurts my eyes..
Oh yeah! I was a bit concerned he would be really mad at me, since it was his Thomas table, but once he saw it coming together piece by piece he got really excited. He likes red too :)
Quoting marinesweetie:
Lol. Do the kids enjoy it?

Blue and red are complimentary colors. They don't clash at all, they are meant to go together. Anyone who has ever taken an art class and payed attention could tell you that. lol. Stupid anons!
I think it looks great :)
