The parents in my classroom drop off the students and sit there and watch the whole class THEY DONT REALIZE that it doesn't allow the children to focus! Give them a kiss and see your way out!

Pre-school or kindergarten? That I could see (at least now and then)... Anything older would be annoying.

Oh yeah. We have always done it like a band aid. Get in and get out fast. I noticed from day one how much easier it is on the teacher and the child to quickly walk away.
