How many kids to a room?

My DH's sister has a lot of kids. Because of this multiple kids share rooms. I think it is a bit much to expect a 6th grader, 4th grader and 2nd grader to share a room together....

How many kids would you be willing to put in a room together?

My kids all have separate rooms and that is how I was raised so maybe multiple kids per room is common and I am just naive.

If you're short on space you do what you have to. I only have 3 kids so I've never had to have more than 2 to a room.

At most we put 2 in a room.

We have four kids and have a four bedroom house.

Our middle daughters, 5 and 4 share a room.

My oldest, my son...is 6 and he has his own room.

Our youngest has her own room and she is 2.  But when we move the younger two will be in the same room, our four year old and two year old.

You do what you have to do but I wouldn't want my kids to share... They need their privacy and own places.

I think it's whatever works best for each family.. My two sisters and I shared a teeny bedroom growing up (they are 9 and 13 yrs older than I am)... my brother's bedroom was in the basement area.  Lol, and all six of us shared one miniscule bathroom with very few difficulties... Flexibility is the name of the game.

**Guess I should mention we lived in a 2 bedroom home**

I wouldn't do more than 2 and mine share but they could choose to split if they wanted.

My husband and his 3 brothers shared a room most of their lives.

I am smart ENOUGH to only produce the off springs we can actually AFFORD and provide them rooms so they all have their OWN room.
