8 month old having nightmares!

She starts crying in her sleep. she toss and turns all night long. She makes noises and grabs for things. How can i stop these nightmares or at least decrease the ocurrance of them?

sounds like my oldest one she was 10 months old and she end up being a sleep walker till she was 14 yrs old .Now she is 16 and once in a while I see her wondering the house ,was scary

I'm not sure how to stop them, all three of my kids have been the same way and the oldest two walk in their sleep weekly. :-(
I'm sorry for you and your baby, I know it's rough feeling so helpless. I always pick mine up and just snuggle them until they fall back asleep. I don't know if it's right or not, but it's all I can do. :-(
