So...does anybody believe the world ends in 11 days?

Posted by   + Show Post

I mean, the company that makes the food that supposedly could survive the apocalypse is going out of business!

But seriously, I don't believe it one bit for quite a few reasons. I'm not sure that anyone I know believes it either. But is there anyone out there that REALLY believes it? At least this theory isn't being told by some con artist getting tons of people to give him all their money...

Our last planetary alignment was in 2000 (or close). Not due for another for a long long time.

agreed I think something may happen due to the planetary alignment like electronics go out some thing. But not the end of times.

I don't believe that any one know when the world end other than God IMO

That's one of the reasons I didn't believe it even before I heard the Mayan calendar didn't account for leap years. The Christian Bible says no one will know but God and here we are with a new date every few months!

Me too. I was just reminded a little while ago from some anon's post about not buying her kids Christmas presents because the world is ending anyway.

Quoting lowencope:

I totally keep forgetting about it.

I sure hope it doesn't. I don't think it will but I guess it's always a possibility, right? I want to live to see my 22nd birthday! Which is the 27th, BTW.

My son said on the 14th he's going to call random people and whisper "seven days".

I seriously want to know what time zone we should be expecting this in, or if it will be a "rolling" thing... like midnight 12/21/12 in this time zone, and then at midnight (tech. an hour later) in the next time zone... like Santa does when he delivers toys.
