Showering with the children

I don't see what the problem with showering with your little ones is, I see so many people saying they don't do it for this and that reason, but really  what is the problem? They have to learn they have different parts at some point, what is the sense of hiding it from them?

I spose I just don't get all this sheltering we do of our children, and then we expect them to grow up, loving their bodies and feeling confident... um?

I have been showering with my daughter since birth she is 21 months now, i point to body parts an say the names. Plus we have fun splashing water at each other. It also saves on the water bill

I agree. My dd is 9 and sometimes when we are in a huge rush, we'll just hop in the shower at the same time. She has no issue with it and usually chitchats the whole time lol
