Got our newborn pics back!! Pic heavy :)

Posted by   + Show Post

I'll start with the same thing I said when I posted my maternity pics.. I imagine I'll get a lot of "I hope you didn't pay for those......" types of comments, since these kinds of posts always do.. But I don't care. LOL. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the pics. They are exactly what I was hoping for  and with this being our last baby, I can't tell you how good it feels to have the photos I always wanted. I wish I could share them all, but I'll just post some favorites. :)

Here's my sweet Odina Zoey. She was 4 days old in these. :')

I second this.

Quoting Anonymous:

As a newborn photog, STFU and let this woman enjoy her pics.

Quoting Anonymous:

lol, my mother was the store manager, and still does it.

she most likely has more experience than your photographer does....

trust me when i am telling you, that pic is way too bulky for a new born.

and she should've focused more on the feet, should've zoomed in more and focused just on the feet.

Quoting superlmama322:

Thank god indeed!

SEARS! Well then.. I have been TOLD haven't I!

:p Thanks again for all the prestigious Sears photographer insight. lol

Quoting Anonymous:

and thank god!!!

sorry, but my mother was  a photographer for 17 years, at sears, and at the age of 8-9 i could point out a lot of mistakes.

and these scream IMMATURE...

they are nice, but not something i'd pay for....or print.

Quoting supermama322:

lol.. Very insightful. Thanks so much for all that input! Lucky for the photographer, they weren't done for you!

Quoting Anonymous:

the second and third a a huge big fat NO NO.

they are too bulky for a four day old year.

and personally, i really hope that you have a lot more with the siblings.

and if you were going to do one with the feet, that photographer should've just focused on the toes.

And I'm sure your 'professional' opinion gets you far, doesn't it. You aren't a photographer, don't give 'professional' opinions on something that IS NOT your profession. Give your opinion, yes, but don't add professional in there.

As a photographer, I love the pictures. This woman doesn't know what she's talking about when she says they are 'too bulky'. Believe me, I've seen pictures bulkier than these. This is nothing.

These pictures are very cute. Enjoy them!

my mother never did by book pictures either!!!

is at a studio now for the holidays, the manager said she had to follow the books, she laughed and said "she'll do it her way"

and she does it her way, and has many many happy customers.

and i am telling you from a professionals stand point where i have both a mother and a cousin who do photography, they are NICE, but she could've done a lot better.

you posted on a public forum, and people are entitled to their opinions, and i'm telling you mine.

those two pictures aren't the best.

Quoting supermama322:

Awesome!

How can you tell me what the photographer should have done to achieve the photos that WE wanted?? She catered to our specific requests.. She didn't do textbook department store photos.

Plus, not that it matters because I LOOOOVE the feet pic, there's several more pics of her feet.. I just picked my favorite one to post.

I think you're missing her point. She likes the pictures they way they are. She is happy with them and wants them no other way. Just because you would prefer it a certain way doesn't mean she would.

I don't see what some people are complaining about? I love those pictures! They are ALL so adorable. I love the way they came out, kinda gives them the vintage look. You have a very gorgeous family!

The photographer did a great job! My teen thought the one with the beads etc...was a doll...I had to show her the post. She says awwwwwwwww...she's so cute!
