I'm pretty proud of myself for being pro-active this year and I'm done Christmas shopping. Did it all online. Well it started arriving today. I'm pretty sure the 6 yr old is doubtful about Santa but he's a good sport and goes along in front of the 4 yr old. Yes we do Santa here.
So the mailman put everything on the covered porch and immediately the kids want to know what's in the packages. They're still out there and I'm not sure what my solution will be for this. We're renting a tiny house and have nowhere to put this stuff until Christmas. What was I thinking? I should have done my usual panicky, last minute down to the wire shopping. Maybe next year. :/

Leave them out there till they go to bed. Tell them they are for your neighbor and they are picking them up later.

Can you put them under or behind your bed? I went and picked up the layaway, wrapped it when they went to bed and then hid everything behind my bed. I had a similar issue this year. We took off all of the closet doors in order to install closet organizers and then I realized I had gotten rid of my go-to hiding place for presents.

I tell them it is our neighbors packages. I "drop" them off (put in the garage) when DH gets home ;)

Any way to rent a small storage? Ours are already wrapped and under the tree.

Do you have relatives nearby? I put everything directly in my car and stash it at my parents house!
