Why is it that men prefer to text instead of talking on the phone?

Been seeing this guy & all day today he has been distant. I know its not another guy & he is busy with college & finals just hate texting all the time. I feel like its so impersonal.

So for all the non living together couples. Does your guy talk or text on the phone more?

Am I the only one that is bothered by this?

It's easier, and you can answer a text anywhere. You can't take a phone call in the middle of class just because your girlfriend thinks texting is impersonal.

 I have a male friend who texts, poorly, since he is a horrible speller. he won't call because he speaks even more worse than he texts.

Most guys i dated would text. Only one used to talk on the phone with me.

My husband can have a better conversation calling than texting. He is dyslexic so. It's easier for him, he's also very talkative.

Mine does not like to text. He views texts the way most people view a rectal exam. I also hate to text. Maybe it's generational. :)

I kind of prefer to text at first, that way I can think about what I'm going to say first before being all shy and mumble or stutter on the phone. I like to keep away from those awkward silences lol.
