No, it's a class C.

ideally no, it's a Category C drug, and contains Aspirin. the Category C means only when the benefits outweigh the risks. i would take Tums if you have it, however 1 dose of Pepto since you are so far along should be ok. BUT i am not a dr. BUT my brother is a pharmacist and told me the same kind of thing about the different category of drugs. hope this helps.

Have you tried drinking some milk? That worked wonders for me when I had heartburn during pregnancy.

This ! Milk. It's safer than tums I believe.

In that case I would just go ahead and take it if you are sure it will work. I think you're far enough along that the benefit will outweigh the risk. I used to get the worst heartburn when I was preggo. Luckily, tums always worked for me.
