Anxiety is a b****.

Ok ladies... I suffer from anxiety. I would like to know what has worked for other ladies as far as managing it. I don't want to be Xanaxed out all the time. I don't like the way it makes me feel. SO, anybody have any recommendations that have helped them keep a handle on it?

Thanks in advance!

Zoloft and lexapro have both worked for me without making me a zombie

Thank you! The attacks suck. I hope it helps you!

I'm no help. My doctor put me on a light dose of Xanax to take when I feel an anxiety attack coming on..

Busipore (sp?) it's not addictive either! Works for me :)

I did Lexapro for a little while. It was ok. It kept the attacks at bay, but the day to day anxiety didn't budge. I feel like it gets worse as I get older, and the smaller scale constant is what I'm the most concerned about. I feel like it rules my life, kwim?

I'll check that out! Thank you.

I'm not super concerned about getting addicted, but the Xanax makes me feel kind of... Zoned out? For lack of a better word. Which ends up making me more anxious.

The home grown tobacco always worked wonders for me. :)
