Every time I go to the doctor he gives me an ultrasound... Can that be bad for the baby?

With my youngest we had to have 1-2 a week. Starting at 14 weeks gestation until he was born at 38 weeks. I wasn't worried too much about it because they were keeping an eye on my little guy.

There's no reason for him to do it... He just likes to I guess lol.

Depends who you ask.

I just opt to not get them at all if I can and if not then ill only agree to two. It has nothing to do with fear and more to so with my dislike of outside influence on my pregnancies. That and I just hate the gel they use.

Maybe I've never heard of a doctor doing it before. I know with my first two pregnancies I only had 2-3 ultrasounds.

There is conflicting information on this. Ultrasounds are very loud and many believe this can harm the fetus.

I prefer to be more safe than sorry and limited ultrasounds during my pregnancy w my DS to one at 25 weeks to ensure that all was as it should be.
