Please stop using the term "Baby Mama" where it is not appropriate!

Unless your man impregnated a woman during a one-night-stand or a booty call, she is NOT his "Baby Mama".  Show some respect and class, especially if they were married.  It's appropriate to refer to her as his ex-wife, ex-fiance or ex-girlfriend.

*Just a disclaimer for the nosy:  My DH only has children with me and I only have children with him.

So if someone said "this is my child's mother" would it be any different? It's the same thing.

It is completely different. It is the proper way to say it. They are the mother/father of my child.

'baby momma' is a derogatory term, used for women like you describe. So I agree with you.

Hmm. I see where you're going with this. My ex husband called me his baby mama one day, just to make me mad...it worked. LOL! It's something we laugh about but it's whatever. I know who I am so *shrug*. I guess I have better things to worry about.
