Thats right! Im a teen mom and currently at home. Well my mom went into my room went though my stuff & took my dds birth certificate!
i havent confronted her yet. She has been hassling me for my dds ss# card. So i made a copy of it, she claimed it was for my dds insurance but my dd has wellcare and they deal with me.
My father and stepmom think my mom is trying to go for grandparents rights.

I live in Ga. Im moving back to NY next weekend. I havent told my mom yet. What is my mom allowed to do and can she stop me from moving?

Having a copy of her birth certificate is not a crime, and unless she can prove you unfit she cant take custody

She's probably trying to claim your kid on her taxes, which. If you live with her. She can.
