How do I make her stop?

My dd is going to be 3 in April. I can not get her to stop sucking her fingers. It has caused a speech delay, and she just won't stop. I have tried thum(that stuff you paint on their nails), hot sauce, pulling her hand out of her mouth and telling her no. Nothing I have tried is working!

Does anyone have any ideas?

I've tried that. She didn't care. If I tell her to stop a lot of times she will hide under a blanket or cover her face so I "can't see her".

I sucked on my fingers when I was little. It was a comfort thing. I grew out of it by the time I was four.maybe she will grow out of it too.

Bump and good luck! Dd doesn't have that problem, but I sucked my thumb until kindergarten. :/ Nothing my parents did made me quit.
