omg pain in tush kid at the cheesecake factory

this kid was so loud and had the run of the place.  when he first sat down his mom went to the restroom and that was it, set him off he was screaming mommmy noooowww come back ! he was 6 tops.  he would scream back at his father when told no.  then kept on coming up to ss to talk. so when the food got to ou table i told him that he has to eat right now its not playtime.  that was it, you would of thought i told the kid he was adopted.  ive never seen a kid act out that bad.  the table  next to us asked to be seated somewhre else.  ah man.

Was he special needs at all perhaps? My dd still throws tantrums at age 5, but usually only if she's hungry, tired, or if her clothing isn't fitting her just right... she has some severe sensory issues, and there's not much I can do about it... we don't eat out much mind you, bc I don't like disturbing others...

It's hard. I always try to justify other kids bad behavior, maybe he is autistic or some other special need but at the same time, no matter what he is ruining dinner.

My Aunt, who is a special needs teacher is always saying that it isn't an excuse for poor behavior, it's just poor parenting.
