Would you let your son go to the Christmas concert if he was sick?

So my 4 year old is having a Christmas concert tonight.  His class is singing on stage and is very excited.  Yesterday you could see he was starting to not feel well.  I sent to school anyway (with a note that I would pick him up right away if he had gotten worse) because it was his dress rehearsal and he did not want to miss where to stand.  Well today he is home.  We had a very long night, fever, coughing, running nose.  It's being controlled with medicine.  The Christmas concert is tonight at 6:30.  He is begging me to take him so he can sing and then we'll leave right away.  Would you take him?

We had one monday. i work at the school and 3kids in ds class were gone. they webt to the program then 2missed school the next day.

This is what I am thinking but he was already there yesterday and was sick.  If they are infected they already got it.

If he didn't go to school no he would not be able to participate.

Eta: at our school is a rule they cannot participate in after school activities if they are not present that day.

Yes. If it's just cold symptoms and fever can be regulated by Tylenol then I would.

 This just happened to me. Poor little guy could not talk without coughing. I made the heartbreaking decision to keep him home. I am more busted up about missing his first school concert than he is... :(

No, if he is not well enough to go to school today he's not well enough to go to the concert. This would be a good life lesson for him "life isnt fair!"
