I called dcfs today..

They will not do anything to help this poor girl.

She has hand print bruises up and down her body. Her dad wont take her to the hospital. Her step dad and mom are the ones abusing her. The child is three and doesn't know better..

They wont do anything because I can not give the address of where  the girl and her abuser lives.

DCFS is great if there is alot of proof and enough people call and make a complaint.  We have been involved with them 3 times because of SS's BM.  If you cant bottle feed them all the evidence they need, its alot harder.  They are very overworked and under paid, and the poor kids suffer as a result.  How do you know she is abused like this?  Why wont the dad do anything is he sees the bruises as well?

He's not much of a father now is he? So if she's being abused he's at fault as well for helping cover it up

The father isn't abusing her.  They need to see the environment where she's being abused.  If the father won't give up the information either, their hands are tied.

I can give t he address of where the little girl is when she is with her father..

I do not have step dad and mothers address though.

Quoting jillbailey26:

Where are they supposed to find her if there's no address?  It's not that they won't do anything, they CAN'T.  How are they supposed to get to her?

I'm not even going to begin to assume what's going on or why the father does what he does.

The point is, DCFS can only do so much.  If they don't have the correct information, how can they start a correct investigation?  They can't.
