My husband and I applied for much better, and cheaper, health insurance than our work provides. It was going to be so much better for us, cover more, and cost less. However, they denied us due to mine and my son's mental health. Of course they don't want to cover the bills for you and your child to recieve the help you need for your mental health. So they prefer the mentally UNhealthy go without care. How is this better? Have we not seen what those who really, truly need mental help are capable of? Oh, but let's save a buck or two and not cover it.
Provide mental health care for those who need it and possibly save lives, or save a little money?! hmmm....
