What kind of dog he is.
This is Ranger. My husband found him in the woods a month and a half ago while he was at the range (he's army). Ranger was starving and scared, so we took him in. Unfortunately, ther are very strict breed restricitions on the base we live on (yes, base is correct, as we do not live on an Army post right now, we live on an AF base).
We've heard mixed things. He's obviously a mix of some sort. We've been told Ridgeback, boxer, lab, and pit. Pit is what we don't want to hear (because pits are on the ristricted list), but what we think he most favors. We have had a boxer/lab in the past, and, though he looks like her, he doesn't look ENOUGH like her for me to feel comfortable saying he's a boxer/lab.
The vet was NO help. lol.
What do you think?

For comparisson, this was our boxer/lab mix, Rachel:

He looks exactly like my neighbor's two dogs- both are pure blood pit.

He's adorable but he kinda does look like a pit mix. Maybe its just me though.

Definitely big. He's only 8 months old, weighs 60 lbs, and is 20 in tall. I am sure he'd weigh more, but since a month ago he was starving to death, he's a little stunted. He's gained 23 lbs since we got him.
