If one of the parents is arrested for possession of a controlled substance even if the child was not present at the time?

THe people I know who have had it happen to them did not have a case opened.

i dont think so. the guy that used to live above me was arrested for that and their kid was home at the time. as far as i know there wasn't a case open agaist them.
