I had my first tooth pulled at 4 today. They told me it would bleed for a few hours but its been 6.
What should I do? I'm almost out of guaze and it doesn't seem like its gonna stop anytime soon. Is that normal?
Anything I can do to make it clot faster.

Get more gauze- all pharmacies sell it. If it's still bleeding bright red tomorrow morning, make an appointment to go back in.

Weird...put ice in your mouth and hold an ice pack on your cheek.

yes first off you need to leave the gauze in to allow a clot to form  gauze in clamp down .. 6 hours is long is should just be oozing at this point.. heres something that may help it stop right away... put a tea back( black tea) in some hot water to moisten it.. allow it to cool.. them gently place the tea back over the socket  for a few minutes . gently remove the tea back.. i think what could be happening is when you are chaging the gauze you are probably disturbing the clot..

more info would be helpful.. have you eaten?? also try ice water hold in your mouth .. hang head over sink allow water to fall out of your mouth...  no spitting.. nothing hot either.. no sucking through a straw

Take 4 Advil and go to bed, that's what I did after childbirth and I was bleeding really super bad.

I've done this with every single extraction and it did wonders. But you have to rinse with plain water afterwards to get the salt out of your mouth. Should be no saltier than your own tears, and made with bottled water.
