the baby isnt born yet why do we already have cs court?

please no bashing....my husband and i seperated when i was 15 weeks pregnant(we will NOT reconsile).i had to go on state insurance because he dropped me and i dont have insurance through my job.i got served papers today for child support court on jan 3.im not due for another 5 weeks so how can the state already take him for child support?

It's bc the state is going to make him pay for your medical one way or another.

Because you are on state assistance, he needs to pay his share. Usually they wont do it til after birth tho, cuz he has the right to question paternity...

Just let them handle it. It's best to get cs and visitation out of the way before your baby comes.

he hasnt filed for divorce.we decided to wait until taxes so we could have money to get ready for the baby.its just child support
