lockdown question

so, with the issues at school, i'm sure all your kids know what they have to do, if there's a lockdown going on there..

BUT! do your kids know what to do, if something happens within your house?

i know some parents will practice fire drills, etc... but has anyone really thought, 'do my kids know what to do, if somebody bad came into the house and injured me/the other adult?'

my son, 7, knows that if somebody comes into the house and i'm hurt- and he cant get to my phone, then he has to run outside and run to either the neighbors or run to his old daycare (if no one answers the doors)... at his daycare, he can go in there, hide in the main office and the daycare will automatically notify that there's a break in at their center, which will make the cops come.

he also knows, if somehow we get seperated while trying to escape, where our 'meet up' area is.

My kids know this. There is also either a door or window leading to outside in every room in my house. I dont want my kids to live in fear i want them prepared for anything.
