Posted by Anonymous   + Show Post

My friend just posted this on FB. I don't know her that well but I feel like I should say something. What would you do?

Just adding this.. the coat isn't safe either. And if the straps are as tight as they should be, it wouldn't be easy for any child to push the clip down.

This is exactly how my step daughter gives me her infant when I pick her up. The straps are always so loose I'm not even sure why they bother strapping her in. I always pull over down the road and fix it. I don't know how to say anything to her either, she acts like she knows what she's doing and doesn't listen to anything I say anyway.

I know. I think just slamming on the brakes would launch him out. :(

You don't have to be Houndini to get outta that.

you aren't supposed to leave the coat on them in the seat. The fire dept tells you this when they install them..

I'm going to say something and try my best to be delicate about it.

Quoting Anonymous:

by the looks of the straps, winter jacket and chest clip. This probably was not the childs fault. Yes say something keep it as kind and light hearted as possible. But dont be surprised if you get a bitchy response or nothing at all. I would still say something, because that baby is in danger.

I know. My LO doesn't have a puffy coat for that reason.
