That if they talk yet.

When my ds gets something i make him say please and after its given its a thank you. Dd does it on her on and she is 2 and ds is 3

Yes. They often do it on their own, but they're 2 and 4, so they still have to be reminded sometimes.

DS is 5.5 and has said please and thank you since about 18 months. He says excuse me, when passing people in the store or sidewalk too.

We are a please and thank you household, his first signs (when he was a little one) was please.
