Texas Equusearch crews have suspended the search this morning for a couple and a young child missing since Christmas day.
Loved ones of Amanda Jindra, her five-year-old daughter Haley and her boyfriend Antorian Buckner-Brown say investigators told them there were a couple purchases made in College Station and Louisiana, and they have every reason to believe that all three are fine. They were reportedly seen on surveillance footage making one of the purchases.
Jindra's family still has not spoken to any of them, but they tell us they are thankful for the help from police, the community and the media.
We are working to get more details from authorities. Please stay with Eyewitness News and abc13.com as we continue following this story.
We have the latest developments in the search for a man and woman and her 5-year-old daughter. No one has heard from them or seen them since Christmas Day and family members are concerned.
Amanda Jindra, her 5-year-old daughter Haley and her 20-year-old boyfriend, Atorian Buckner-Brown are all missing since December 25.
"Anyone that's a mother would know how it feels when her child goes missing," said Amanda's mother, Sandra Jindra.
Montgomery County detectives tell us Amanda Jindra, 35, and Buckner-Brown just started dating a few weeks ago. He was last seen on Christmas Day at his mother's home on Legends Glen Drive where he lived.
"Opening presents and just relaxing afterwards and he got a phone call so he took it in the other room and came out and said he was going out for a little bit. I didn't think anything of it," said Atorian's brother, Isaac Buckner.
Amanda Jindra lived about three miles away with her son and daughter. Relatives tell us she dropped off her son with a friend on Christmas Day. They haven't seen her or her daughter since.
Detectives believe Jindra may have been going to a park with her daughter and boyfriend before they disappeared. Her vehicle, a 2011 Mitsubishi Outlander, is gone too.
Now volunteers with Texas Equusearch are combing the area, but they don't even know where to begin looking.
"Concerns are they could have gone off the road and they are some place where the car can't be seen and they could've gone off the road and ended up in the water somewhere," said Tim Miller with Texas Equusearch.
"We are praying for you and wherever you are we are coming for you. We're going to find you. Stay strong. We are on our way and I love you very much," Isaac Buckner said.
Update with some new info regarding the boyfriend::::
Buckner's family says the couple had just started dating. They describe him as a responsible man who works two jobs. In fact, his family says they became concerned when he failed to show up to work Wednesday morning.
"I'm concerned for the safety of my little brother. He's been missing since Christmas night and we haven't heard any word from him at all," said his brother, Issac Buckner. "We do have his car now and his wallet was found in the car, his ID, his money, so wherever he's at right now, there's no way to identify him in case something has happened."
MCSO: Couple, 5-year-old reported
Dec. 27, 2012: Deputies need help finding two adults and a child who have been missing since Christmas Day. Jennifer Bauer reports.
MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Texas -
Deputies need help finding two adults and a child who have been missing since Christmas Day.
Montgomery County sheriff's deputies said Atorian Buckner-Brown, 20, Amanda Jindra, 35, and Haley Vilven, 5, were last seen in south Montgomery County about 8:50 p.m. on Tuesday.
Investigators said Buckner-Brown and Jindra are dating. Jindra has two children, 5-year-old Haley and a 9-year-old son.
The three of them and Brown had dinner with some of Jindra's family on Christmas Day. Afterward, the couple had plans to take the children to the park, but they dropped the 9-year-old off with a family friend.
Jindra's parents said it's not like their daughter to take off without telling anyone, and she would never leave her son behind.
"Right now we're hoping for the best," said Steven Jindra. "We're doing everything we can to try and locate her in case it's the worst."
Jindra's family said there has been no activity to her bank account since Christmas Day and she hasn't responded to text messages or answered any phone calls.
"Right now we're still looking for some kind of hit on where they are," he said.
The three were last seen in a gray 2011 Mitsubishi Outlander with Texas license plate No. DM2 B066.
Officials said they don't have specific indications of foul play, but they are worried because none of the three have had contact with their families.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office at 936-760-5876.
