She's mad because I told her my kids aren't allowed to have McDonald's *UPDATE, new pic* TROLL POST

My DH's great grandmother, Louise, lives out of state. She sent both of our children a Christmas Card with $10 for each of them. She wrote a nice little note on the side, to each child, saying how much she loves them. Then, to the left of the card she puts "Go get you a McDonald" (with the $10, obviously). Well, my 6 yr old reads the card and gets really excited because "now we can have a McDonald Happy Meal!" I had to tell her no. She knows that she's not allowed to have McDonalds. She got really upset, so I got on my computer and googled obese children. I showed her the pics and asked her if she wanted to be like that. Of course, she said no. Ok, end of discussion.....until about 15 minutes ago.
Louise calls and my 6 yr old answers the phone. Apparently, she asked my daughter is she got to go to McDonalds. I hear my daughter tell her no, that "we aren't allowed to have that kind of food". Then, she asks to speak to me. We get into a heated argument and I have to tell her "Look Louise, my children only eat non-fattening, organic, healthy foods." Then she hangs up in my face! What a bitch!
DH thinks I overreacted, but I don't care. I refuse to have unheathy children. For those of you that will surely ask for a pic:
This one is my 6 yr olds card. McDonalds isn't even spelled right on this one. My youngest daughters is spelled correctly though.

You ladies are crazy! I had no idea this post would get this many responses. For the record, some of you questioned the validity of the Cards. They are 100% real. And.....I have a new pic. We just ate supper, and guess what we had?

Edit again!
This was/is a troll post.
I don't think you needed to say a thing to anyone except thank you. No need to go off to exremes and google obesity for your 6 year old. All you had to say is something vague like we'll see, I don't know, maybe. The occassional fast food or sugary or non organic treat won't kill them or set them up for failure but drilling it into their heads about fat could lead to anorexia or other eating disorders.
I don't see the big deal in getting A happy meal. One trip isn't going to make her obese.
so? one happy meal is not going to make them obese
even once a month isnt going to make them fat
geez lady
Quoting momof4boyz1girl:Just because your kids eat a happy meal every once in a while does not mean they will be fat. It's not that big of a deal.
Yea, but if they have one now, they will always be wanting them. That's exactly what happened last time. I let my dumbass sister watch the kids for 2 hours (big mistake!) and she let them have a Happy Meal. They just stopped asking to eat them, and that happened 4 months ago.
Not to be mean but I do think you overreacted. I agree, having McDonalds on a rare occasion isn't going to hurt them.
