She's mad because I told her my kids aren't allowed to have McDonald's *UPDATE, new pic* TROLL POST

My DH's great grandmother, Louise, lives out of state. She sent both of our children a Christmas Card with $10 for each of them. She wrote a nice little note on the side, to each child, saying how much she loves them. Then, to the left of the card she puts "Go get you a McDonald" (with the $10, obviously). Well, my 6 yr old reads the card and gets really excited because "now we can have a McDonald Happy Meal!"  I had to tell her no. She knows that she's not allowed to have McDonalds. She got really upset, so I got on my computer and googled obese children. I showed her the pics and asked her if she wanted to be like that. Of course, she said no. Ok, end of discussion.....until about 15 minutes ago.

Louise calls and my 6 yr old answers the phone. Apparently, she asked my daughter is she got to go to McDonalds. I hear my daughter tell her no, that "we aren't allowed to have that kind of food". Then, she asks to speak to me. We get into a heated argument and I have to tell her "Look Louise, my children only eat non-fattening, organic, healthy foods." Then she hangs up in my face! What a bitch!

DH thinks I overreacted, but I don't care. I refuse to have unheathy children. For those of you that will surely ask for a pic:

This one is my 6 yr olds card. McDonalds isn't even spelled right on this one. My youngest daughters is spelled correctly though.

You ladies are crazy! I had no idea this post would get this many responses. For the record, some of you questioned the validity of the Cards. They are 100% real. And.....I have a new pic. We just ate supper, and guess what we had?

Edit again!

This was/is a troll post.

Way to go at reading the entire post!!!

Quoting Anonymous:

Why would you eat McDonald's if you claim your children eat only healthy, organic food? So you made this poor lil old lady upset for absolutely NOTHING. Way to go! Hypocrite!

Aren't you a supermom? Making your young child believe one Happy Meal will make her fat. Wanna talk about anorexic teenagers... You are such a moron.

I'm not a moron, I'm a troll. There's a difference between the two.

That's it I'm leaving this group. Every stupid post in this group is from a stupid troll with no life and nothing to do but make up crap on the internet. Making a confession group with an anon feature was just asking for these types to come out of the wood work. I'm done.

Aww :( i hope that the bellies dont hurt sometimes but is hard to resist some fries lol my dh is mexican and he isnt fat . I tell him that i wouldnt be eith him if he ever gets as big as a truck lol im sorry is just that i want to feel proud to say this is my dh and for iur sons to be happy to say thats my daddy ( he looks good and is healthy ) lol imho the ppl that are fat are like that because they want to (99.9%) asides from a good appearance which is important we all know is true , i want him to be as healthy as possible . Fat and obese ppl have too many health problems and i wanna avoid that for my family . I cook some mexicans dishes but also eat colombian food . We arent obese and our sons arent either and we hit mcdonalds like 5 times a month lol althought is hard to not want to eat there but im losing extra ten lbs of baby weight that i have and im good lol . The area where we live all mexicans we see and that are friends with are obese even their kids :( poor kids :(

Quoting RMslady:

Haha very true. And I am Mexican (not fat though.....well Kinda now since I'm pregnant lol) so I can admit it. I didn't say McDonalds makes you fat though. It makes both my kids poop green (sry tmi) and the Mexican doesn't. Anything that does that to their system they can do without. Besides I think 8 or 9 bucks for a happy meal that doesn't even fill them up is rediculous.

Quoting Anonymous:

If there are any fat ppl in this world asides american ppl the answer is mexicans !! I dont see how mcdonalds is any worst than mexican food ... And no im not racist i just happen to have a good pair of eyes! Lol i just think eating in moderation is the key . Regardless of the healthiness or not of food :)

Quoting RMslady:

I Hate McDonalds. The only times the kids go is when DH takes them. I prefer Cosmic Kitchen in our town. Way more food for the same price and its at least a little more healthy. Its a Mexican Restaurant and the McDonalds in our town has nothing for mesa than 2 bucks (welcome to Alaska!)

I don't see a problem with it...my nephew who is 5 has NEVER had a happy meal of any kind. Even when he is with the grandparents or aunts and uncles, we all know that my little sis doesn't want him to eat that stuff, so if we take him out to lunch or dinner we go somewhere else.
