You can't always do it quietly and it's better than farting outside of the bathroom.

That was the one place my mother said it was actually ok to fart in. I still giggle when someone does it, but I don't think it's rude

I'm really serious. There are plenty times I need to fart, but I feel like it would be rude knowing others are in the bathroom to pop a hard loud fart. I have courtesy.
