Can my husband and I get in trouble for not filing taxes? The last few years he earned at most $300. The rest of our income came from my SSI and state benefits. I was always told I didn't have to file but now a friend is insisting that I will get in trouble when we file this year because is working.

Is the child tax credit being removed for this coming year? Jan 2013? My husband is out of the Army since Last nov 2011 and hes been on Unemployment since December 2, 2012. Dec 3 he got a job and has been full time.

I receive money through the Army to go to school (chapter 33) it is not taxable

do I get a W2? Can I file taxes? I really want claim my son,.... is that possible?

No a lot of people do not file taxes because its not the law. Nobody ever gets punished for it. You should google Dont pay taxes or something a like and you will find info

Can I claim foster kids who have been with us since August and neither parent works so there is no way either of them can or will claim them?
