My daughter just told me she got married a few days ago. She just turned 18 last week and is still in high school.

I am shocked, they just met a month ago and I don't know what to say. I don't want to push her away but wow!

 I just, wow.

Tell her it's time to move out of your house and in with her husband.

My grandparents got married at 18 and just celebrated their 67 wedding anniversary.

I would try to encourage her emotionally, and financially too.  But remember she is an adult now.

Are you going to throw her a wedding reception?

Thank you, I know I have done well for her. She made this choice and I don't know why but it's not bc she didn't have a loving supportive family and home. Her father and I have been married 22 years and she and are very close.

She cried and told me she was so sorry she didn't tell but she is happy, in love and well young and dumb..
