If your almost 16 month old...
Didn't make eye contact .
Didn't point at things that they want/find amusing.
Couldn't say more than 3/4 words.
Didn't wave goodbye or hi
Doesn't show any signs of being hungry/thirsty until they're almost dehydrated/starving so you realize that you had to put them on a schedule.
Couldn't shake head yes.
Didn't smile when smiled at.
Doesn't imitate things. Just one or two things. But not funny faces/weird sounds/dancing.
Doesn't show affection- Doesn't hug back, only kisses when asked to, doesn't want to snuggle if upset.
This is how a baby in my family is. Would you bring this to their mother's attention? I don't want her to feel like im insulting her but im concerned.

Yes I would be worried. I would be going to the dr trying to get answers asap.
