There is a possibility of complications from everything, wether it be medicine, food or even things in the air.

Adverse reactions happen.  It's tragic.  The benefit still outweighs the risk.

Hep b is a major health risk for healthcare workers. It's also an std.
An infant doesnt work in healthcare and they're not sexually active. Why do they need the Hep b vaccine?
They dont

Poor little baby :(  That couldn't POSSIBLY be from the heaven sent vaccines the medical field saves our lives with!  (Please note the sarcasm...not trying to be rude to you OP).  People who believe these vaccines do nothing to us are imbeciles.

Not sure if someone chimed in yet. This baby died.

Quoting WardosWifey:

That's awful that happened to the baby.  I sure hope all is ok w/him/her.  I will still vaccinate my children, though.  There are risks EVERYWHERE; you cannot keep your baby/child from every single little thing out there.

Yep. I still think vaccines are safe.

Sure, there can be reactions and side effects. But they're rare. My sil almost died from anaphylactic shock after having a reaction to penicillin when she was little. And yet, not even she is going around saying penicillin is unsafe because of what happened to HER. I myself became very allergic to Omeprazol. And yet, I have no issues with DH taking it when he needs it. Because I know that what happened to ME certainly doesn't make that particular think bad or harmful

statistically low odds. I'll stick with the CDC recommendations.

That is what the CDC counts on $$$$$$$$$$

Still better than not vaxing.

Tell that to this baby's parents. Would you feel the same if it was YOUR baby laying there? I think not!
