I get a 25 cent raise every six months. In March I will get a 4,000$ raise because I've been at my current job for a year. It will push me up into the next paygrade. But, I'm union and I work for the state. DH did not get a raise this year. He got his first raise in 5 years last year. He works for Oracle.

He gets raises quite frequently, and unexpectedly - his boss is pretty awesome.  I get annual raises, but they are small because I work for a small nonprofit.

yes, yearly raises and bonuses are paid at the end of Feb.  my bonus is 22-27% of my salary on average and my annual raises have been between 5-7% - this year, I also got a mid cycle raise due to my good performace bringing my salary from 98k - 105k - I was shocked and thrilled.  I love my job

Hubby gets them when he gets promoted....my company does merit based raises...at one point I got a promotion and a raise both in one year....they froze all promotions and raises last year (which screwed me out of a promotion that would have meant more money) and since then  I switched positions within the least year so I'm not expecting one this year either.
