I'm 37 weeks pregnant and ran out of Tylenol pm. Can I take melatonin just this once? I need to sleep and I can't. I've ttried milk, bath etc. Help!

You can take Benadryl. I'm 32 w and I'm in the same boat.

"Just this once"?! Are you serious?! I don't know the dangers of taking Melatonin while pregnant, but it from your post it sounds like you do. Just doing something one time that puts your baby at risk is not a justifiable reason. Find something else that's pregnancy safe, or suck it up. We've all been there.

Obviously if I knew it was dangerous to the baby or me, I wouldn't be asking. I looked it up and everyone says a different thing. By "just this once" I really mean just this once since I can go and buy Tylenol pm tomorrow.

try a hot shower and then make sure your room is nice and dark and cool. Hope you get that sleep you need momma.
