Do work from home jobs really exist?

I currently work away from home full time. I feel like i am missing out on so much of my kids' lives, but I need my income.
Are there any real work from home jobs? I wouldn't mind going back to school, if need be.
And I realize I will probably take a huge pay cut, but if you work from home can you give me a rough idea how much you make?
Thanks!

Yes. I work from home as a freelance writer. I know writers who make $1,600 a month, but I don't have that kind of time.

Check out flexjobs.com.

I work part time from home as a consultant.  I make about $30,000/year.

Actually yes you can. Many health insurance companies have health lines staffed by nurses that work at home

Avon ... didn't work out for me because I live in a small town andt there was already an Avon lady so I couldn't get the clients, but it could work for you. My EX-MIL used to make about $250/week from only selling Avon.
