Parenting classes before you can get a divorce??

 In another post someone said they had to take a parenting class before she could get a divorce. Has anyone had to do this??  I got divorced in NC and there was no such thing.

Not parenting classes but I've heard of going to marriage counseling.

I had to take an 'child impact class' before we could get divorced. It was all bullshit I already knew, but honestly feel like everyone should have to take one (because so many parents really don't put the kids' needs first, which is sad).

Unfortunately Kentucky won't enforce it if one parent doesn't take it

In Missouri they do, dh just went through one a month ago, he's taking his ex back to court for custody issues
