Do you have furniture secured to the wall??? What types???

We have a lot of built in in our house and the closets are done so we don't have dressers or really any extra furniture in our bedrooms.

But around the rest of the house we have random pieces.

That post about the dresser tipping over onto the girl and killing her has me so terrified.

My son is 17 months old and he can climb pretty much anything now. So it's time to do more baby proofing

All my bookshelves are fastened to the wall. Also my curio cabinets, tv stand, and a few heavy decorations.

We always had things secured to the wall, but not just for baby proofing.  We live in earthquake country, so it's just "normal."

We have pretty much everything that weighs more than the kids do secured to the wall. Both of our girls were horrible about climbing and pulling on everything, so pretty much everything from the fridge and stove to the tv stand to the armoire and our dressers is secured. We also have almost no furniture in the kids room, even though they're actually almost old enough to be trusted, lol.

Sex table. So when we go rough it doesn't fall over like it did last time.

No. We used baby gates to keep our son out of the bedrooms when we were not in there and along with the bathroom.

We do have our flat panel secured to the wall where he cannot reach it.

We have nothing secured to the walls, and honestly, I would have never thought that would be something we needed to think about. I read that post about the little girl as well, and now I think we are going to spend on weekend soon getting everything bolted down! Thankfully, I'm only 6 weeks pregnant, so we have plenty of time before this becomes an issue.

Just the tv. We're anchoring another bench/storage piece once the tree is gone
