Do you or did you allow your children to watch SpongeBob Square Pants? How about a 3 yr old boy?

Im just curious.......

I did not want my son to watch it when he was younger, but now he is 3 1/2 and I have been allowing him to watch it and he loves it; but I am not sure if it really is appropriate or not???

What are your thoughts????

Hell no. To annoying. Although to be honest the few times he did see it, it didn't hold his interest. It's way below his maturity level. Most cartoons these day don't appeal to him. He's 7.

Yes I do.  What is so wrong with it?  Kids don't understand the 'questionable' acts in it.  I know alot of people get all bothered by certain episodes like when Squidward and Spongebob are in the bath together, but kids don't see that as disturbing or gross!  Spongebob doesn't swear or hurt others and hey, he has a great work ethic!
