Mom Confessions Mom Confessions

I asked my mom to bring home some milk and she gets an attitude.

I buy the groceries ALL the time. She spends her money on alcohol and idk what else. I'm currently not working an the only money I get is child support and i have some saved up from when i was working. I'll go back to work after I have the baby...

Anyway she calls me saying she's leaving work soon. I tell he we need milk. She's gets this pissy attitude. Well excuse me...I seem to recall you eating the food I bought. And drinking the milk. No reason you can't pick up a gallon in your way home.

How old are you? How old are your kids? Do you have a job? Is it her house?

Quoting Anonymous:

Since my youngest brother has moved out she doesn't want to live alone.

Why do you live together?

How are our ages important? No I'm not working which I stated already. And it's my house.

This is why I get pissy and get an attitude when anyone in my asks me to grab something on my way home.

She is tired from working all day. What did you do? Why did you not go out and get milk?

I'm sorry but I can't believe you guys are suggesting that OP kick out her mother over giving an attitude about picking up milk. Talk to her about it and tell her what you expect of her.

I'm not just going to kick her out. And if I feel like whining on the Internet I will.

How do you buy food if you don't work? How do you pay the mortgage? Your age is important because if you are you are young you probably moved back in with mom (unless you never moved out) because you had a hard time on your own. If you are older you are more than likely providing care for your mom...which is doubtful since she works, you don't and you are defensive about this question.

I agree.  I live alone with my children and sometimes I will say screw and just not stop, because I am tired and give the kids some orange juice or something.  If I truly need the milk I will stop, but I won't be happy about it, LOL.
