PCOS... Anyone? (Possible TMI)

It was about a year ago that I was diagnosed and every time I speak to my dr she says "it's part of your PCOS." But she says that about almost everything. I've been having tons of problems. I bleed pretty frequently and it's always bright red and not like my periods (when I get them) at all.
Heaven forbid I have sex. I start bleeding almost immediately. I can't have sex in certain positions because it hurts like hell and to top it off SO is very large and he can't go all the way in like we used to. :/
I have pain all the time.
Hair is darker in places it shouldn't be (face)
My face has turned into an oily mess that my cosmetologist still has trouble fixing.
I have no sex drive until a couple days before my period and then it's gone as soon as my period stops.
My weight is like a friggin yoyo.
I'm depressed all the time which I never really had a problem with before.

I'm just so sick of all of this and want to know if doc is just blowing it off. Do any of you PCOS diagnosed women deal with this too?

Have you seen an endocrinologist? That sounds like it could be adrenal disorders, or possibly endometriosis with the PCOS.

I was thinking the same thing. I have pcos and have the oily skin, weight problems, pain during intercourse (ocassionally..not all the time)...but no bleeding during intercourse. What youre describing sounds more like endometriosis

Do you have bleeding in between your periods? And by any chance did you conceive after being diagnosed? My dr told me I have a slim chance of conceiving again. Sry if this is so too personal. I just want a better understanding on all of this. Feel free to ignore my questions! Lol

I have endometriosis and PCOS and I have every symptom you have to a T with the exception of the bleeding. Go see a specialist and see if they can help you.

I have pcos and a lot of what you describe is what I have. It sucks. And was also told my chances to conceive were slim to none too. Makes me sad cause we always wanted more than one. But I would look into what the others are saying too. Good luck

not sure about the bleeding thing. with having PCOS, for me- i dotn have many cycles so the blood, when it does come, is older... bright pink is usually new/fresh blood. i'd get a specialist like others have stated.

the painful sex, darker hair (or more hair like where a man grows), the oily face, no sex drive, depression-- thats all PCOS with me too. my weight, for a while it yo-yoed between 15-20 lbs every week. but it leveled out about a year ago. not sure if thats PCOS-related, but i hated it.

New doctor.

Im told the same thing.

My last cycle was 55-58 days and I was told I just had to deal with it and go educate myself.
