DH has celiac, I believe DD does as well, or is allergic to wheat. DS is ADHD. I have lupus and diabetes, which was a result of undiagnosed pcos. DS & I also have some nasty seasonal allergies, and given how well we both have done on a gluten free diet, I believe we also have a wheat allergies.
yDD has asthma, but it's getting better since we got back from China (air quality is poor in the city she was born in) and we have every reason to believe she'll outgrow it, if not entirely then at least in it's severity. She was also born with a heart defect that was repaired in China 6 months ago, but one that shouldn't give her any further problems. They patched it and the good news is that it should be fine as she grows, even if the patch stops working, because the hole wasn't big to begin with and most shrink proportionally as the child grows.
Besides that, not really. I have a minor heart defect myself, the same one as yDD in fact, but have never needed surgery and won't need any treatment unless I develop another condition like high blood pressure or heart disease. Which is unlikely given my lifestyle and no genetic background of it.
Oh, and oDD has had periodic issues with anemia, but not for about the last 2 years.
Yes, it can some. I am on meds that help though. I am well though and in remission. Thank you. Glad you are better also.
Quoting lifeisajoy:
PtSD too-but I have not had any issues with it in years-but man it was not good with all those crazy flashbacks-yuck! hugs hope you are doing well
