We are a happy family and we have health issues

My son has cerebral palsy, developmental delays, gastrological issues, and behavioral issues (but doing great on that)  He is a young adult on a toddler/pre-school level-technically non-verbal and in a wheelchair

I have epilepsy and colitis and nerve damage (neuropathy)

My husband has undiagnosed-losing weight, he shakes, and dizzy, and severe muscle weakness

Going through tessting right now-he is

How about your family?

DH has celiac, I believe DD does as well, or is allergic to wheat.  DS is ADHD.  I have lupus and diabetes, which was a result of undiagnosed pcos.  DS & I also have some nasty seasonal allergies, and given how well we both have done on a gluten free diet, I believe we also have a wheat allergies.

My oldest is autistic and I have some health issues related to tumors. The rest of my family is healthy.

yDD has asthma, but it's getting better since we got back from China (air quality is poor in the city she was born in) and we have every reason to believe she'll outgrow it, if not entirely then at least in it's severity. She was also born with a heart defect that was repaired in China 6 months ago, but one that shouldn't give her any further problems. They patched it and the good news is that it should be fine as she grows, even if the patch stops working, because the hole wasn't big to begin with and most shrink proportionally as the child grows.

Besides that, not really. I have a minor heart defect myself, the same one as yDD in fact, but have never needed surgery and won't need any treatment unless I develop another condition like high blood pressure or heart disease. Which is unlikely given my lifestyle and no genetic background of it.

Oh, and oDD has had periodic issues with anemia, but not for about the last 2 years.

My dh has issues with his neck. I have pros, and suffer from depression and anxiety, with OCD tebdencies and an undiagnosed tic. I also have scoliosis, my knees and hips hurt too. My dd has some speech issues, and we are having her tested for any behavioral disorders. Ds is borderline (normal side) ADHD with OCD tendencies. Time will tell for the baby. We are a fucked up bunch lol.
